Departure

This is my first post to my Lucknow travel blog. I called it the Real World because I will be living in a house of 7 random Americans somewhere in Lucknow and we will all be studying Urdu. That is all I know at this moment. A bunch of guys, a couple of girls, and inevitable antics. I plan on chronicling my adventures for you, my small group of friends and family. 

As I write this I am shoving a few more things into my bloated carry-on as I steel myself for a 16 hour plane ride with 40 complete strangers. Luckily my mom has supplied me with only-available-in-india prescription sleeping pills so I may mitigate the pain. The next post will be from India!
